Houston Rap Tapes is the companion book to Houston Rap, by Peter Beste and Lance Scott Walker, an immersion in and documentation of the Houston Hip Hop community in neighborhoods such as Fifth Ward, Third Ward, and South Park.
Houston Rap Tapes features in-depth oral histories conducted by Walker, with exclusive interviews with producers and MCs such as Bun B., Willie D., Paul Wall, Z-Ro, Big Mike, DJ DMD, K-Rino, Salih Williams, and Lil’ Troy, accompanied by a selection of Beste’s black and white photography. There are also creation myths told by old school masters like MC Wickett Crickett, and Rick Royal, as well as the life stories of an assortment of radio and club personalities, impresarios, ex-pimps, former drug dealers, and members of the community.

A complete facsimile of The Situationist Times, Jacqueline De Jong's self published periodical, on the 50th anniversary of its inaugural issue.

De Jong, a Dutch artist and graphic designer, joined the Situationist movement in 1960, and quickly assumed a position within the Central Committee. De Jong was determined to make "a completely free magazine, based on the most creative of the Situationist ideas," and in 1962 she began The Situationist Times, a broad representation of a movement that had already become divided into the political and the aesthetic.

The Situationist Times is one of the most visually compelling publications of it's oeuvre, initially printed offset on thick colored paper, eventually shifting to full color lithography.

A reissuing of Wallace Berman’s art/assemblage/beat zine, Semina, alongside related ephemera, posters and mail-art. Michael McClure called Semina “a scrapbook of the spirit.” During it’s creation it was sent through the mail to Wallace Berman’s friends like David Meltzer, William S. Burroughs, Alexander Trocchi, Allen Ginsberg, etc. The components of Semina were not only submitted, but appropriated from these friends, alongside personal heroes like W. B. Yeats, Hermann Hesse, and Antonin Artaud.

Hand-printed on a table-top at his house, this free-form zine with its loose-leaf poetry and amazing collages, montages and photography, is also most baffling in its vanguard status: nobody had done anything like this before Berman, not even in the days of Dada. Published between 1955 and 1964 in editions ranging from 150 to 350 copies, this rare publication needs to be seen and cherished by anyone interested in American post-war art.

Jack Smith, 1932-1989, was a master of the exotic idiom, working in theatre, underground film, photography, graphic design, drawing, and slideshows. He was one of the path-finding pioneers of American post-war underground aesthetics. Boo-Hooray exhibited handbills, posters, photographs, letters, artwork and collages by Jack Smith, spanning his career. Boo-Hooray published Wait For Me At The Bottom Of The Pool, an annotated and illustrated book of Jack Smith artwork, photography, ephemera, short stories, poetry and correspondence.
